Business Development Director – Cloud

Who we are We’re a fast-growing Microsoft Gold partner that specialises in running a combination of multi-year IT Transformation programmes for blue chip organisations, software product development (re-platforming & born in cloud) for the digital platform market, complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 customisations, recurring Team as a Service and DevOps support contracts. We work across a number of markets including but not limited to not for profit, fast growth tech, professional services and business services. We are headquartered in the UK with an offshore delivery centre in India

Who we’re looking for Senior Sales Consultant joining our UK sales team
A seasoned, senior, solutions sales person to lead complex digital transformation opportunities, engaging clients at board level to help them understand the benefits and solutions that my client provides, ultimately placing their trust and invest their budgets with us. The right candidate will take the leads provided by our marketing department and develop them through the full sales cycle to closure, with deal values ranging from £250K to £5m. He or she will have a successful track record in new business software services sales using a consultative approach. He or she will also be able to plan the end to end sales / account engagement strategy, work with our architects to develop priced solutions, write proposals and bid responses, and successfully negotiate terms.

What qualifications we expect All backgrounds will always be considered but our sales people typically have a degree in something.

Other relevant bits and bobs You’ll need to demonstrate the following experience:
 Developing successful account strategy and sales strategy
 Qualifying, strategizing and closing new business deal values from £250K to £5m
 Solution sales involving software and technical complexity
 Excellent written English for bid and proposal writing
 Successful bid and deal construction, including ownership of pricing
 Board level client engagement
 1st class presentation skills
 A consultative approach to sales
 Deal negotiation
 All round commercial awareness to develop good deals for both partners in a customer & supplier relationship
The right technology and project exposure is key in areas such as:
 Microsoft cloud solutions such as Dynamics 365 and / or Azure cloud services
 Software development projects
 Business & digital transformation programmes
 Long term engagements as a trusted and strategic partner
We’re also looking for people that fit how we work, which is something like:
 Enjoys taking the initiative and working under their own direction, but comfortable asking for support when needed
 Knows exactly when to engage our technical specialists during a sales cycle to optimise the sales process and maximise the opportunity
 Excellent spoken and written communication
