Partner Manager – SaaS Vendor

As a Partner Manager, you will grow existing and recruit new LAR & VAR partners. Your responsibilities include working with all members of my clients Commercial team to manage partner onboarding, define and executing joint partner business plans, develop a pipeline of new partners and opportunities, and building long term relationships across the partner organisation. The ability to develop and coordinate a cross-functional team environment will be critical to the success of this position.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify target LAR & VARs, explain my clients value proposition and onboard new channel partners.
  • Agree joint business plans with all partners with quarterly exec reviews
  • Manage and drive joint sales engagements between the partners and my client
  • Set a strategic partner development plan for target market segments and ensure it is in-line with the company strategy
  • Gather partner feedback and share with internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal team
  • Ensure accurate forecasting of partner led opportunities

 

Your profile:

  • Partner / Channel Manager sales experience for an IT or Software company
  • Developed indirect sales channel including growing partner competencies and delivering sell-through revenue.
  • Ability to drive strategic technology discussions at multiple levels with partners
  • Knowledge of technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
  • Knowledge of data and analytics solutions
  • Substantial experience of large complex deal negotiations
  • Excellent listening, presenting and writing skills with the ability to lead executive level meetings.
