Sales Development Representative

UKUp to £65K Base + Attractive Comm Plan

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working for a company that values Trust, Transparency and Learning.
As somebody who wants to grow and extend their skillset, the future SDR will focus on prospecting and generating new leads, qualifiying on SaaS prospects and renewing and upselling at selected customers while being an active contributor to our business in UK&I and Northern Europe.

Key responsibilities:
Strategically out bounding to potential customers to generate demand for the acquisition Sales Team
Utilising a mixture of inbound inquiry management and systematic outbound skills to nurture and engage with new logo businesses in order to facilitate opportunities for Sales
Regularly engage with different business units to leverage resource and accelerate the process of lead / opp /pipeline generation
Leverage the support of the wider Marketing Business Unit (Campaign, Web, Comms and Channel) to assist with sales alignment
The first point of engagement for prospects, qualifying technical requirements, and educating around my clients portfolio with focus on our SaaS offering
Maintaining relationships to selected customers to renew existing contracts as well as upsell software
and service products to increase business and to become an Expert.
Achieving on KPI’s, including the number and value of leads and opportunities generated on a quarterly target and conversion rate
Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal resources to assist customers with shaping their data strategy
Ownership of all inbound lead generation activity, gaining an understanding of how customers consume
technology and their pain-points, call or e-mail to spot upsell or cross-sell opportunities
Actively taking part in focused outbound campaigns to generate new logos and expand business.
Dealing with inbound enquiries through Salesforce that are generated through different channels
Other responsibilities consist of out bounding to prospects who have attended events or campaigns generating demand for the business.

Your profile:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (face-to-face, over the phone, and via email)
You have some experience in a competitive professional environment and are driven by success
You are ambitious and want to excel quickly in your career – you may be poised to be an Account
Executive/Business Development Manager in 12-18 months
Experience in working within Sales and Marketing
Hands-on experience with Salesforce but not essential
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well with multifunctional groups/people
Ability to handle unstructured situations by finding creative approaches
Strong problem solving/decision making and sound judgment skills
Professional attitude and ability to manage confidential information
Personal integrity and commitment to high moral standards and business ethics
Fluency in English (verbal and written)
