My client is a fast-growing SaaS business with heart. We have an online solution that allows our members to measure, manage and maximise social value.
This allows organisations to report both non-financial and financial data, and rewards organisations for doing “more good” in the community. We measure environmental, social and economic activities and help to identify and measure the additional social value delivered through a project in terms that are meaningful to customers.
What you will be doing
- You will be responsible for delivering Social Value strategy and growing brand reputation across the UK.
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customised targeted sales strategies.
- Own and manage pipeline management, forecasting, territory management, sales process and methodology.
- Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, conferences and networking events.
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce) of prospective client information.
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process.
- Meet quarterly sales targets and maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software.
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
- Must be willing to travel 3-4 days per week to client meetings.
Requirements
What we need from you
- Proven background in B2B enterprise software sales or professional services.
- Enterprise SaaS experience for a start up, scaleup or mid-sized software business is essential.
- Experience selling into at least 1 of the following Public and Private sectors, such as local government, health, engineering, construction, the services sector and financial services.
- Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.
- Persuasive and goal-oriented.
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour.
- Demonstrated and proven sales results.
- Ability to develop and deliver professional and impressive presentations and portal demonstrations.
- Evidence which demonstrates that you can achieve sales objectives, prioritise workload, work well under pressure and at pace.
