Business Development Manager – IT Managed Services and Cyber
My client is looking to capitalise on it’s unique offering of technology services by employing an Account Director who will be focussed on driving New Logo business on a win and retain basis. This individual will be an experienced new business hunter with demonstrable experience of delivering results and a track record of success. If you are a tenacious and driven individual who has previously sold IT Managed Services and Cyber Security solutions to the Enterprise market and want to join a growing company, this is the role for you.

- Hunting and qualifying IT & Cyber Managed Services opportunities
- Building relationships and establishing communications at the highest executive levels in your prospect accounts to understand their needs and priorities.
- Identifying and understanding the business outcomes your prospect wishes to achieve
- Confirm and communicate the differentiated value of my client to the customer at a business level
- Understanding the formal and informal buying process in the customer’s environment
- Identifying the customer approvers, decision makers, and influencers, and develop strategies for each to mitigate risk and increase deal confidence
- Taking a core role in the closing process including negotiations and procurement activities
- Build and cement relationships with multiple functions with the target account engaging with IT Service Management, Sourcing and CISO functions as well as technical leads.
Essential Experience:
Proven, demonstrable successful track record in repeatedly exceeding quota and performance targets in previous roles dealing with larger clients.
- Substantial Technology-related “As a service” sales and account management experience
- Experience of selling Managed Cyber Security solutions
- Ability to build relationships internally & externally
- Track record of high-value multi year term sales
- Demonstrate an ability to work at CxO level, understanding the complexities that are inherent in very large customer organisations
- Client Relationship background with a knowledge of existing software licence models from a major vendor (IBM, Dell EMC, Microsoft, Cisco etc)
- Ability to influence, contribute and collaborate with a wider team to drive impact
- Existing C-level contacts within accounts
- Must hold a full UK Driving licence.
